Kevin Love 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoFor years, fantasy owners of Kevin Love’s have been waiting to see what the big man could do on his own again. In theory, the 2019-20 season will present that opportunity. The biggest question surrounding Love ahead of the new year is his health. An injured big toe on his left food put the kibosh on most his campaign last year, but there is some useful statistical information to glean from the 22 games that he did appear in. The up-and-down nature of Love’s time on the court hurt his field-goal percentage, as he finished the year at 38.5 percent overall. Even with that being the case, Love aggressively set a new career mark with 6.7 three-point attempts per contest. And despite the shaky offensive output, Love stayed true to what he does best -- rebounding. Erratic playing time notwithstanding, Love recorded 12 double-doubles last year. Should he spend the entire upcoming year as a member of the Cavaliers, he’ll be the unquestioned No. 1 option on a nightly basis, creating the potential for snagging a steal depending on where owners can select Love in drafts.
