Kevin Huerter 2018-2019 Player Outlook
6 years agoThe Atlanta Hawks drafted a pair of guards in this year's NBA Draft, headlined by former Oklahoma star Trae Young. While Young will get most of the attention and the early playing time, don't forget about Maryland's Kevin Huerter, a 41.7 percent shooter from three in his final college season who showed good rebounding ability for a guard. Huerter will open the season backing up guard Kent Bazemore, but his talent and the potential for Bazemore to be traded by the deadline could lead to Huerter being a tantalizing fantasy option in the second half of the NBA season. For now, though, fantasy owners can't be thinking that far ahead and should look to roster players who can provide more immediate help.
