Justyn Ross 2024 Outlook: Unlikely To Make Fantasy Impact
6 months agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross was a popular sleeper option heading into 2023 after missing his entire 2022 rookie campaign with a foot injury. The 24-year-old posted 1,000 yards as a freshman at Clemson, which outpaced teammates Tee Higgins, Amari Rodgers, and Hunter Renfrow. However, he never matched that production, and it's now been over five years since his breakout campaign. While competing in a weak wide receiver room last year, he posted just six receptions for 53 yards. Injuries and ineffectiveness have him on the roster bubble in Kansas City, especially after the team added Marquise Brown and Xavier Worthy this offseason. If Ross makes the roster, he's a fine late-round flyer in ultra-deep leagues, but it would be a surprise if he's fantasy-relevant heading into his third pro campaign.
