Justin Tucker 2020 Outlook: Still The Best?
5 years agoBaltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker is the arguably best kicker in football. Last season, he made 28 of his 29 field goal attempts and finished 3rd overall at the position. Even though he was a part of a prolific Ravens' offense, his fantasy production was negatively affected. Tucker only attempted 29 field goals, which was 10 less than his average over the previous four years. This was largely due to the Ravens’ performance in the red zone, which should regress. The decreased efficiency should lead to more attempts for the first-team, all-pro kicker. His 143 fantasy points last season would have also placed him half a point behind Carolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore. Although kickers tend to be overlooked in fantasy leagues, Tucker might be worth grabbing as opposed to waiting until the final rounds.
