2 years agoThe Americans are looking to secure their first overseas Ryder Cup in over 25 years and Justin Thomas decided to go have a sneak peak of the course ahead of time. Thomas had a brilliant showing at the HNA French Open and started with a pair of cool one-under 70s to set up his weekend. On Saturday, Thomas fired off a three-under 69, which included three bogeys and five birdies. Thomas wrapped up his final round with a lackluster even-par 71 to finish T8 at four-under par, but his best shot of the week came on the 72nd hole, where he almost holed out from the bridge leading to the 18th green. Thomas will take a couple weeks off in preparation for the Open Championship, which will be at Carnoustie Golf Links. Thomas is ranked second in the Official World Golf Rankings and has a scoring average of 69.358.--Todd Dorsa - RotoBaller
