11 months agoThe Toronto Blue Jays might be a hot mess right now, but first baseman Justin Smoak is one of the lone bright spots in the lineup. Smoak went 3-for-4 on Wednesday night against the Red Sox, including two singles and a double. That extended his hit streak to 12 games dating back to July 25. He hasn't been able to match his All-Star season production of 2017, but still has a .260/.366/.483 slash line with 18 home runs and 57 RBI. Unfortunately, the Jays lineup around him isn't helping his fantasy numbers. There are definitely better options at 1B out there, but there are plenty of worse ones as well. Smoak might be worth adding (if available) just to ride his hot streak.--Devon Taylor - RotoBaller
