Julius Randle 2018-2019 Player Outlook
6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward Julius Randle will start the 2018-2019 season playing on a brand new team. Last season, Randle played for the Los Angeles Lakers, where he averaged 16.1 points and eight boards per contest. Also, Randle had 2.6 assists a game while shooting 55.8 percent from the field. Randle had this kind of production for the Lakers getting just 26.7 minutes a game in playing time. With the Pelicans, Randle will probably be the first big off the bench with All-Star Anthony Davis starting at center and Nikola Mirotic playing the power forward position. This means that Randle probably won't get 30 minutes a game but being that Randle was the Pelicans' big free agent this past offseason and not having much competition for playing time off the bench, expect very similar stats that he put up last season. All this being said, expect Randle to be off the board in the middle rounds in most redraft leagues.
