2/13:New York Mets infielders Jose Reyes and Wilmer Flores will get opportunities in the outfield during Spring Training, according to Mike Puma of the New York Post. Anthony DiComo of MLB.com clarified that the Mets will likely give the two work in the outfield because the team only has four full-time outfielders on their roster. DiComo notes that Reyes did play the outfield at times last season, but Flores has yet to play the outfield in his professional career. This is good for fantasy purposes for two reasons: First, because that could give these two players added eligibility, and second, because it would get them on the field. The addition of third basemanĀ Todd Frazier likely locked Flores into a utility role, and the Mets have already said that Reyes will play all over the diamond.--Chris Zolli - RotoBaller
