Jose Abreu Should Continue To Show Consistency In 2018
7 years agoSince entering the league in 2014, Chicago White Sox first baseman, Jose Abreu has become one of the most consistent fantasy performers. During those four seasons, Abreu has yet to hit below .290, with a career batting average of .301 and career OPS of .833. The slugger has hit 30 or more home runs in three of the last four years while driving in 100 or more runs in all four years. If you are looking for a power hitter that won't hurt you with a low batting average, Jose Abreu is your man. It doesn't get more consistent than Abreu. Regardless of if he stays with the White Sox or is dealt, he will remain one of the more legitimate options at first base. Abreu should be targeted in the third and fourth rounds of upcoming drafts. Expect another campaign of 30 home runs and 100 RBI with a batting average around .290 to .300
