1 year agoSix golf tournaments in the last seven weeks, including a major, is a lot of golf, especially if you don’t have your best game. Jordan Spieth can attest to that after finishing T40 this past week at the Travelers Championship. Spieth was in high hopes of defending his title here at the Travelers Championship and looked well on his way after an opening-round 63 and a tie for the lead after Day 1. Over the next two rounds, Spieth went for a combined four-over par, erasing his beautiful start and putting himself way back of the leaders heading into Sunday. Spieth began his championship Sunday with a birdie-bogey- birdie start and finished the day with a simple one-under 69. With a break in his schedule, Spieth will look to decompress and recharge his batteries for the last leg of the PGA Tour season. Spieth is ranked sixth in the Official World Golf Rankings and has a scoring average of 69.962.--Todd Dorsa - RotoBaller
