2 years agoGolden State Warriors forward/center Jordan Bell started against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Christmas Day, despite center Zaza Pachulia (shoulder) being available after a brief absence. Bell scored eight points over 26 minutes of action and also had six boards, including a key offensive rebound late in the fourth to set up a game-changing three-point shot by shooting guard Klay Thompson. Bell has played well while filling in for Pachulia but he will head back to the bench when the team squares off with the Utah Jazz for their next game, at least that is what it appears like for now, according to head coach Steve Kerr, who started Bell in order to play "smaller and faster." Nonetheless, the rookie has solidified a role on the roster, but may see inconsistent minutes moving forward while Pachulia is healthy, making him worth a stash in deeper leagues but a potential drop in 10-team formats, depending upon how things look over the next game or so. Stay tuned.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
