1 year agoLos Angeles Kings starting goaltender Jonathan Quick was placed on the Injured Reserve on Oct. 7 after suffering a lower-body injury during Saturday's practice. This is a huge blow to the Kings as their star goaltender will be out for at least a couple games to rehab this injury. This is not the first major injury, the Kings netminder has suffered, as Quick only played in 17 games in the 2016-17 campaign, after suffering a groin injury on opening night vs San Jose. Quick had a great season last year posting a 33-28-3 record with a 2.40 GAA, 921 SV%, and five shutouts in 64 games. Once Quick returns to the Kings net, he will be a top fantasy goaltender behind the Kings deep defense.--Rayden Lin - RotoBaller
