Jonathan Greenard, Ryan Kelly Ruled Out for Week 11
The Minnesota Vikings will be without a pair of key veterans for their crucial Week 11 matchup against the Chicago Bears. Per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, edge rusher Jonathan Greenard (shoulder) and center Ryan Kelly (concussion) have both been ruled out. Across nine games this season, Greenard has recorded two sacks and nine QB hits. His absence should make life easier on Bears quarterback Caleb Williams. Kelly has been on Injured Reserve since Week 3 due to a concussion, but has had his activation window opened and is reportedly nearing a return. He's generally considered one of the better centers in the NFL, so his absence hurts Vikings running backs Aaron Jones Sr. (shoulder, toe) and Jordan Mason, as well as quarterback J.J. McCarthy. 2024 seventh-round draft pick Michael Jurgens appears set to make another start at center in Week 11 with Kelly out.
