Johnny Cueto Should Impove From Career Worst Season In 2017
7 years agoJohnny Cueto had a season to forget in 2017. With a career 3.33 ERA, the right-handed starting had one of his worst seasons with a 4.52 ERA. Cueto has historically been one of the most underrated pitchers with 5 seasons with under a 3 ERA in his 10-year career. A big reason for his struggles in 2017 could be the fact that he dealt with blister issues all season as well as suffering a flexor strain which caused him to miss over a month. The track record speaks for itself and as long as he is healthy, Cueto makes a fine bet to come back to his old form. He is likely to slip in 2018 drafts due to last years performance but should return good value in the middle rounds of drafts.
