San Francisco Giants pitcher Johnny Cueto (blisters, elbow) threw off flat ground for the first time since having an issue with his elbow. There is good news here as Cueto said he felt no discomfort. There is still no timetable for his return, but it's a step in the right direction. Cueto has historically been one of the top fantasy pitchers but is going through his worst season with a 4.59 ERA and 1.40 WHIP. He will still be worth starting in most matchups despite facing powerful offenses in the NL West.
