4/20:Washington Nationals starting pitcher Joe Ross, making his 2017 debut Wednesday, gave up two runs in the first, walked the third batter and even gave up a hit to opposing pitcher, Julio Teheran. His final line, though, was three runs on six hits over seven innings with seven strikeouts and just that one walk. He threw 66 of his 100 pitches for strikes. The Nationals eventually crushed the Braves 14-4. With little depth to speak of, the Nationals will need as many healthy innings as Ross can give them. His next matchup isn’t ideal, however. He pitches next Monday in Colorado.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
