4/21:Minnesota Twins first baseman Joe Mauer went 1-for-4 on Thursday with a double and a run scored against the Indians. That was Mauer's first double of the season, bringing his slash line up to .218/.259/.236 with no homers and six RBI. Mauer is off to a slow start this season, continuing a trend of declining power numbers over the past few seasons. That being said, Mauer could turn in a productive game against Tigers starter Justin Verlander on Friday. Mauer has excellent numbers against Verlander in his career, slashing .333/.432/.560 with four homers in 75 career at-bats. Based on those strong numbers, Mauer makes for an interesting, cheap play in DFS.--Matt Terelle - Rotoballer
