Joe Harris 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard Joe Harris looks to remain one of the NBA’s most lethal three-point shooters this upcoming season. Last year’s winner of the NBA’s Three-Point Contest, Harris played 76 games for Brooklyn, averaging 13.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game while leading the NBA with a 47.4 percent shooting mark from behind the three-point line. The addition of point guard Kyrie Irving should help Harris get even more open spot up opportunities. The biggest issue for Harris at this point is the addition of former Hawk Taurean Prince. Some believe Prince will start at the three for Brooklyn and push Harris to the bench, lowering some of his fantasy value, but Nets head coach Kenny Atkinson is a big fan of what Harris brings. I’d expect to see Harris once again in the starting lineup to provide a needed boost offensively, and he can be a big help for fantasy owners who need production from deep and someone at the guard spot who can shoot close to 50 percent from the floor.
