Joe Burrow 2024 Outlook: In Store For A Better Season After Injury-Riddled 2023 Campaign
6 months agoIt was a rough 2023 season for Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. He suffered a calf injury in training camp that ultimately hurt his early-season numbers. Burrow averaged just 12.1 fantasy points per game through the first six weeks. But, following the team's Week 7 bye, the Pro Bowl quarterback was back to putting up elite fantasy numbers. He averaged 24 fantasy points per game over the next three contests before suffering a season-ending wrist injury in Week 11. However, with the 27-year-old fully cleared from that wrist injury, fantasy managers can draft him with confidence as their QB1. In two full seasons, the LSU product has finished as the QB7 (2021) and the QB4 (2022). In both seasons, Burrow has also thrown for at least 4,500 yards and 34 touchdowns. If he can stay healthy, a top-seven fantasy finish is certainly attainable once again, especially with Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins serving as his two options in the receiving game.
