7 months agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Jesse Winker went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a 3-1 loss to the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday. Winker provided the only offense for his team with a first-inning single that plated Joey Votto. Winker is batting .200 with six homers, 10 runs, and 11 RBI on the year. He is showing nice power at the plate this season and should be able to rack up the counting stats once the Reds lineup gets going after a slow first month of the season. Winker has a plus matchup against Atlanta right-hander Julio Teheran on Thursday. Teheran has struggled mightily against left-handed batters over his career.--Matt Terelle - RotoBaller
