4/20:Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim infielder Jefry Marte went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in Wednesday’s loss to the Astros. He hit fourth and played left field. Marte is now 0-for-15 across his last four starts with no walks and six strikeouts. His batting average has dipped to .148 on the season. The Angels have been playing both C.J. Cron and Marte regularly in place of injured Luis Valbuena. While neither has been playing particularly well, this recent stretch by Marte will likely keep him on the bench moving forward, and he will likely lose his roster spot when Valbuena returns. He should not be owned in any formats. He is on the bench for Thursday’s game against Lance McCullers and the Astros.--Andy P - RotoBaller
