3 years agoQuarterback Jay Cutler took a soft matchup against the Buccaneers' Sunday and made it look like one of the toughest of the year, something he undersold post-game when he said, "I didn't play well." He completed 16-of-30 passes for 182 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. To be fair, 50 of those yards and the touchdown were complete flukes thanks to a half-ending hail mary miracle catch from wide receiver Cameron Meredith. Cutler was also sacked four times for a loss of 21 yards and fumbled twice, making his bad day even worse. Until Cutler and the Bears' figure out how to go from good practice to good game execution and establish one of their other receivers as a threat--like Brian Hoyer was doing with Meredith before his injury--opposing defenses will continue to look at him as a delicious meal. The suffering of the Bears continues.--Tony
