Jason Heyward Pops Up With Home Run, Stolen Base
4 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Jason Heyward went 2-for-2 with a homer, two RBI, two walks, and a stolen bag in the team's 9-4 win against the Washington Nationals on Tuesday. The 33-year-old is trending up over his last eight games, hitting .364 (8-for-22) with two big flies and five RBI. The five-time Gold Glover has quietly generated a very respectable .830 OPS in 100 at-bats this year. The veteran is worth keeping tabs on in deep fantasy leagues with James Outman encountering a bit of a rookie wall and David Peralta providing very little. Furthermore, Mookie Betts has been playing some shortstop lately, so the door is open for Heyward to take on a more extensive role.
