8/11:Seattle Mariners starting pitcher James Paxton will miss at least three weeks with a pectoral strain. The Mariners' and Paxton's fantasy owners' worst fears have been realized, as the elite southpaw will be out for at least a month and possibly more. The 28-year-old was sporting an awesome 12-3 record, 2.78 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and impressive 10.4 K/9 before his latest injury. You'll want to stash him in a disabled list spot, but at this point Paxton may not be able to offer his owners much down the stretch. Seattle's rotation is in dire straights as they push for a playoff spot with both Paxton and Felix Hernandez on the DL. It'll mean pitchers like Yovani Gallardo and Erasmo Ramirez will have to stick around in the rotation.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
