7 months agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher James Paxton (illness) is throwing a full bullpen session on Friday and is hoping he can start either Monday or Tuesday against the A's. If Paxton goes on Monday, there's a chance he could make two starts two finish out what has been a fine season for him. However, the left-hander hasn't pitched since Sept. 7 due to the flu and pneumonia, so he'd be a bit risky against Oakland early next week.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
