4/21:After a slow start to the year, Baltimore Orioles shortstop J.J. Hardy has begun to heat up over the past seven games. On Thursday against the Reds, he finished the day 2-for-4 with a double and a game-winning RBI single in the 10th inning off of Blake Wood. Hardy is now 10 for his last 28 (.357) to raise his season line to .255/.271/.383. He is left on the waiver wire in most leagues, but in a deeper format Hardy could provide value while he’s hitting so well. His .344 BABIP is bound to drop, and he is striking out more and walking less than his career averages so far this season. Once he begins to struggle, don’t be afraid to cut ties.--Ben Ruppert - RotoBaller
