6 months agoBoston Red Sox designated hitter J.D. Martinez finished 2-for-4, with two doubles and a run batted in during Tuesday's loss to the Rangers. It was Martinez' second day back from a four-game absence, due to back spasms. He's been Boston's best hitter all season, slashing .305/.382/.538 with 14 home runs, and 34 RBI. He'll continue to slot into the three of four spot of the lineup, which means his RBI totals should continue to rise, despite the Sox' struggles this season. If he is healthy, Martinez should be in your lineups, without question.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
