8/22:Of all the running backs trying to make an impact in Miami this pre-season, it isn't Jay Ajayi or Arian Foster separating himself from the pack. Isaiah Pead leads the Dolphins so far with 98 rushing yards and a 7.0 YPC. Against the Cowboys last weekend, he ripped off a 45 yard run and provided the bulk of the rushing offense once again. Most importantly, he has seen time with the first team offense both in training camp and in game action. Although Pead will not leapfrog either Ajayi or Foster on the depth chart unless injury occurs, he is making the case to be the next in line and could see some action. For a player who was out of the league last year and has a grand total of 78 yards in his NFL career, it is a longshot that he becomes fantasy relevant, but stranger things have happened.--Pierre Camus - RotoBaller
