2 years agoHuston Street appears likely to be activated off the disabled list today after flying to New York to join the team. Street has been out all season with a lat injury but has finished his rehab at Triple-A Salt Lake and will join a bullpen that just lost incumbent closer Bud Norris to the DL while returning their original closer, Cam Bedrosian. It is unclear what role Street will have in the pen, but he closed games last year while Bedrosian was healthy so there is a chance he will get a shot in the ninth inning. His 6.45 ERA, 1.93 WHIP and 5.64 K/9 make him a very risky option, and since he is not a sure thing to get saves he should be left alone except in very deep formats. Should he get the ninth inning role outright, he would be a low-end closing option at best.--Andy P - RotoBaller
