3/17:It’s tough to put a ton of stock into spring training statistics, but Kevin Pillar is making his best case for the fantasy community to take notice early on. He’s been raking since spring games started, and that continued on Thursday by finishing 1-for-3 with a triple and one run scored. For the spring overall, he’s hitting .407 with a .500 OBP and 1.167 OPS to go along with three runs scored and one RBI. Of course, the big knock on Pillar last season was that his stolen base attempts dramatically decreased. If that doesn’t pick up, his fantasy ceiling will remain capped. He only has one attempt thus far during the spring, but that shouldn’t be much of an indicator for the regular season.--Andrew Bua - RotoBaller
