Hogan Harris Lowers ERA To 2.98 In Victory
5 months agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Hogan Harris earned his second victory of the season with a strong performance versus the Houston Astros on Monday. Harris tossed 6 2/3 scoreless innings, while allowing seven hits, two walks and striking out seven. The performance lowered his ERA to 2.98 on the season. Despite his low ERA, his xERA of 5.56 and FIP of 4.53 suggest that a big regression is coming soon. On a team that doesn't win much with data to suggest that his best days are behind him, Harris can safely remain on the waiver wire for most contests. Next up for Harris will be a favorable matchup versus the division rival Los Angeles Angels.
