2 years agoHideki Matsuyama's (hand) swing rises in the East, but did not set in the West at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. The two-time champion of this event had to withdraw from the championship in the second round, citing a hand injury. He then flew back to Japan and had an MRI done, fortunately revealing no structural damage. His possible timetable to return is at the WGC-Mexico Championship. Leading up to the Waste Management Phoenix Open, Matsuyama had three top-five finishes, a top-25 finish and also tied a T50. Do not let that T50 frighten you, because Matsuyama can get it done.--Todd Dorsa - RotoBaller
