Harrison Bryant 2023 NFL Player Outlook: Could Fall Lower On Browns Depth Chart
1 year agoCleveland Browns tight end Harrison Bryant backed up David Njoku last season and will be behind him on the team's depth chart once again. Bryant had a career-high 31 catches for 239 yards and one touchdown over 17 contests in 2022. He started three games as the TE1 for the Browns last year but failed to do much with the opportunity. Bryant averaged just 4.3 PPR points in those games. The 25-year-old likely will see few starter opportunities this season, even if Njoku goes down again. The Browns added to their tight end room this offseason by signing Jordan Akins. Akins is coming off a career year, totaling 495 yards and five touchdowns with the Texans in 2022. The veteran will likely slot in behind Njoku for the backup tight end job, and Bryant could drop down to third on the depth chart. Bryant is mainly a dynasty stash and should only be drafted in deep tight end premium leagues in 2023.
