3/16:Colorado Rockies relief pitcher Greg Holland (elbow) needed just 10 pitches in a 1-2-3 ninth inning in his spring debut against minor leaguers Wednesday. Once an elite, All-Star closer for the Royals, Holland hit 95 mph with his fastball in the outing. In his peak with Kansas City in 2013, the right-hander struck out 13.84 batters per nine innings. Colorado is expected to enter the year with Adam Ottavino as the closer, but if Holland continues to display his pre-injury form, it might only be a matter of time before the roles are reversed. Holland is looking like an excellent sleeper for saves in the late rounds right now.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
