Freddie Freeman 2022 Player Outlook: A Seasoned Stud Joins A Juggernaut
3 years agoSince 2018, all Freddie Freeman has done is slash a ridiculous .306/.398/.532 with 105 homers in 539 games played. His 162 game average over that sample has been 94 runs, 26 homers, 89 RBI, and six stolen bases. Now he joins the Los Angeles Dodgers, who were already the best offensive team in the game. We should not go over the top with changing the projections on Freeman because of the team change, but things certainly should tick up a bit. Dodgers Stadium proved to be a better park for the long ball than Truist Park in 2021, and there will be stronger hitters behind Freeman than ever before. Everything is setting up for Freeman to put up another MVP-worthy year the plate, making him well worth the top-15 pick in fantasy.
