4 weeks agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Felix Hernandez (lat) underwent an MRI exam on Tuesday to check out the soreness in his lat muscle. Hernandez had some fatigue in his rehab start last Friday and has been out since May 12. The 33-year-old is limping to the finish line of what has been a fantastic career, but he no longer has much fantasy appeal and is far from the dominant starter he was in the prime of his career. Hernandez is 1-4 on the season with a 6.52 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 34 strikeouts in 38 2/3 innings over eight starts. You'll want to avoid him in mixed leagues whenever he makes his return to the M's rotation.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
