Equanimeous St. Brown 2019 Player Outlook: Carries Intrigue as Packers' Potential WR2
6 years agoDavante Adams is the Packers unquestioned top wideout, but 23-year-old Equanimeous St. Brown could very well challenge for the second spot in the Packers passing offense. St. Brown averaged an excellent 15.6 yards per reception with limited targets (36) to produce 328 yards over 12 games. He finished the season strong, posting a 5-95-0 line in the Packers' Week 16 win over the Jets. With the Packers failing to address the wide receiver position in the draft, St. Brown's only real competition for the WR2 spot is Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who finished third on the team in receptions and receiving yards. The battle will be on come training camp, but regardless of what the depth chart looks like St. Brown will carry flex potential as a key target for a hopefully healthy Aaron Rodgers.
