6/24:The Edmonton Oilers have selected goaltender Olivier Rodrigue from the Drummondville Voltigeurs out of the QMJHL with the 62nd overall selection of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. In order to select Rodrigue, the Oilers traded picks 71 and 133 to the Montreal Canadiens to move up to pick 62. Rodrigue is a 6-foot-1 goaltender weighing in at 156 pounds and is an athletic butterfly goalie with elite quickness. While undersized, Rodrigue was ranked the top goaltender prospect in the draft due to this athleticism and was the second goalie selected after Olof Lindblom of the New York Rangers. Rodrigue finished last season with a 2.54 goals-against average and a .903 save percentage in 53 games with Drummondville. He will be added to a rich prospect pool of goaltenders in Edmonton, including Dylan Wells and Stuart Skinner. Rodrigue will likely return to Drummondville for another year of development and should not be selected in fantasy leagues, as he will not be on the Oilers starting roster.--Rayden Lin - RotoBaller
