3 years agoWide receiver Eddie Royal came up short again in his second season with the Bears. After injuries sunk his 2015 and limited him to nine games played, multiple injuries kept him sidelined in 2016, again keeping him to nine games. The big difference between the two was this season he drew only one start. His best game was a Week 4 explosion that looked like the start of some solid fantasy potential, but he was never that healthy again this year. Royal was effective when available, catching 33 passes for 369 yards and two touchdowns, but that was a rare occurrence. When those stats are coupled with his average of 11.2 yards per catch, one can see a hazy vision of deep league sleeper potential for 2017 if his health allows it.--Tony
