7 months agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia (knee) appears likely to land on the injured list with more knee issues. However, the good news is that he avoided a serious injury on Wednesday after being examined by doctors in New York. The expectation is that he will return sooner than later, but fantasy owners shouldn't be expecting much from the veteran who doesn't appear to have much left in the tank. Eduardo Nunez should see most of the starts at second base until Brock Holt (eye) returns from the injured list. The 35-year-old Pedroia had only two hits in 20 at-bats (.100) before his knee flared up again.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
