8 months agoUpdating a previous report, Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman (foot) is dealing with a bone contusion, according to a source. He missed practice on Wednesday and his status for Week 6 against the Buccaneers is in doubt. The good news is that he was able to do some work off to the side, but he'll need to at least get in a limited practice either Thursday or Friday to have a shot at playing in a great matchup on Sunday. If he sits out, Tevin Coleman would be on the RB2 radar, while rookie Ito Smith would back him up. Freeman returned in Week 5 for the first time since he suffered a bone bruise in his knee in the season opener.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
