1 month agoPhoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker was by far the most reliable fantasy option on the team last season, taking his game another step forward. Booker, who famously had a 70-point game in 2016-17, averaged a career-high in both points (26.6) and assists (6.8) last season, featuring a lot as the team's point guard. His role is set to change in 2019-20 after the Suns added Ricky Rubio from free agency on a three-year deal. Booker's assists numbers will suffer from the Spaniard's presence, but Rubio's top-class playmaking ability will provide better scoring opportunities for him. Booker had a mixed season in terms of shooting in 2018-19, posting a career-high 46.7 field goal percentage, but shooting only 32.6 percent from downtown. He's a 35 percent career shooter from deep, so we can expect him to have a much better year from behind the arc, with Rubio capable of finding an open shooter all night long. The Suns are projected to do a lot better compared to last season, so the time of simply notching up empty stats could very well be over for Booker, who will be looking to make his first All-Star appearance.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
