6/7:Young Los Angeles Dodgers pitching prospect Dennis Santana (lat) was set to make his first MLB start on Thursday afternoon until Dodgers manager Dave Roberts scratched him at the last minute. The team said it was "right lat soreness," but Santana will undergo an MRI when the team returns to Los Angeles on Friday. The Dodgers clearly have hopes that Santana will develop into a quality starting pitcher -- and he was pretty good in the minors -- but his only major league action so far was not promising -- a relief drubbing last week against the Rockies. We will update the MRI results when they are available. A disabled list stint is possible.--Devon Taylor - RotoBaller
