6/7:The Los Angeles Dodgers were set to hand Dennis Santana his first major league start on Thursday, but manager Dave Roberts pulled him at the last possible minute when he noticed he was having problems throwing his slider during pre-game warmups. Daniel Hudson took his place as the starter, but the Dodgers are calling Santana "day-to-day" with right lat soreness. Hopefully it's nothing major for the 22-year-old, who put up excellent numbers for Oklahoma City and Tulsa in the minor leagues this year but was roughed up in a long-relief appearance last week, giving up five earned runs in just 3 2/3 innings.--Devon Taylor - RotoBaller
