Demaryius Thomas Quiet in Week 3
6 years agoAfter sitting in Week 2, Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas saw just four targets in his Week 3 preseason return - bringing in two passes for 13 yards. After five consecutive 1,000 yard seasons, 2017 marked Thomas' lowest yardage total (949) since 2011. Emmanuel Sanders looks to have a solid connection with offseason addition Case Keenum and rookie Courtland Sutton looks primed for a solid rookie season. While it is entirely too early to even be remotely concerned with Thomas, there are reasons for trepidation. Still, he is one of the most physically dominant receivers the game has ever seen and figures to be a main focal point of this Broncos offense once the regular season kicks off. Consider Thomas a solid WR2 heading into the 2018 season.
