Dede Westbrook 2020 Outlook: Outbreak Unlikely?
5 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Dede Westbrook is unlikely to experience the breakout fantasy owners have been waiting for since his rookie season. This will be Westbrook's fourth season in the Jaguars offense, and while he's shown some flashes of his talent, he's yet to do much more than work as a complementary piece of the passing attack. This season, Westbrook will open up the year with D.J. Chark and Chris Conley ahead of him on the depth chart, and rookie second-rounder Laviska Shenault will play a role as well. Westbrook still has the talent, so he's not a bad guy to have on your bench just in case this is finally the year it happens, but he should not be relied on as a starter or more than a bye-week desperation play.
