DeAndre Jordan 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoBrooklyn Nets center DeAndre Jordan is entering his 12th season and he will be representing in his new black and white, Brooklyn Nets uniform. Jordan to the Nets is quite surprising in the sense that they already have a young and athletic center in Jarrett Allen. Coach Kenny Atkinson has yet to set in stone who will be the Nets’ starter and he added that the two will work it out in their preseason training camp. After Jordan got moved at the deadline last season, he did split time in the middle with the Knicks’ Mitchell Robinson. He still managed to provide mid-round value with 10.9 points, 11.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocks while shooting 63.4% from the floor and upped his free-throw percentage to an above-average 77.4%, but that is not all, the big man also chipped in a solid 3.0 assists in his 19 games with the Knicks. We can assume he will have a similar role with the Nets and but we cannot see him sustaining those assist numbers, but we should see a double-double with efficient shooting and a block making him worth a look in the later rounds.
