2 years agoDeAndre Hopkins was likely thanking the heavens when the Houston Texans took rookie quarterback DeShaun Watson in the NFL Draft. Hopkins suffered mightily in 2016 thanks to shaky play under center. His 2015 numbers dropped from 1,521 yards and 11 touchdowns to 954 yards and four TDs the following year. Those 2015 numbers were kind of incredible when you consider that he was faced with a four-man rotation at QB. As it currently stands, Tom Savage is expected to get the first crack at the starting gig with Watson closely behind. Savage is a below average QB who will be easily challenged by the rookie passer. All of that is to say that Watson should see the field at some point in 2017. That alone gives Hopkins a big boost up in terms of fantasy. Currently ranked as a high-end WR2, Hopkins has the potential for much, much more with Watson under center. Expect to draft Hopkins in the back of round two/early third round with the possibility he turns into one of the biggest steals of the year.--Frankie Soler - RotoBaller
