Deandre Ayton 2018-19 Player Outlook
6 years agoDrafted number one overall in the 2018 NBA Draft, Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton comes into the year as arguably the most NBA-ready rookie in the league. Ayton came off an incredible year as a freshman at Arizona, averaging 20.1 points, 11.6 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game and receiving the PAC-12 Player of the Year award. Ayton has drawn criticism for lack of defense and he is more than likely going to take a hit from his college numbers. However, Ayton’s offensive talents has drawn NBA comparisons to center Karl-Anthony Towns. Ayton figures to have immediate fantasy value this season and should be a top-50 talent in standard leagues with even greater potential for dynasty leagues.
