3/15:Boston Red Sox starting pitcher David Price (elbow) will not throw Wednesday but will play catch from 60 feet Thursday, according to manager John Farrell. We already know Price will miss the start of the season, but he might be ready shortly after that if he can begin ramping up his throwing program shortly. Because of drops in velocity and problems with the home run ball, Price's inflated 2016 ERA left many down on him entering this year. But his strikeout and walk rates were in line with his prior ace-like self, so once he's back to full health, he should be back to normal. The injury concerns will drop his price, but Price may not be a value pick as a high-end second starter.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
